MANAGER, CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS

hMetrix Client Engagement Managers support our project teams by serving as the interface between our staff and clients. By driving innovation, helping to create novel solutions, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring that our results clearly translate to value for our clients, they help our business grow while solving meaningful, real-world problems for stakeholders in the healthcare community.

Successful candidates will have extensive experience managing projects in the healthcare space. A robust knowledge of healthcare data analysis and presentation, current healthcare policy, and an understanding of the impact of policy and regulatory changes on client business operations is a must. This position requires working closely with developers, analysts, content area experts, and client staff to ensure deliverables meet all client business and technical requirements. Experience in large-scale healthcare data management, integration, validation, and software development is strongly preferred, as is a working knowledge of common healthcare datasets and systems and healthcare policy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve in a leadership role managing client relationships and engagements at the cutting edge of healthcare data science
  • Manage day-to-day project priorities, activities, and deliverables in a flat organizational environment with cross-functional teams
  • Provide insights and seek opportunities arising from changing healthcare policies and regulations
  • Translate client needs into team goals and facilitate clear communication of results back to client
  • Review analyses performed by analysts for accuracy, clarity, and relevance
  • Mentor employees to improve business knowledge, policy, and technical skills
  • Drive innovation and novel value creation in client solutions
  • Lead continuous process improvement efforts within hMetrix
  • Develop new business opportunities

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in public health or a quantitative science such as statistics required
  • 2-10 years’ professional experience in the healthcare industry required. Experience in healthcare policy analysis and interpretation, provider contracting, care management, and / or hospital financial management strongly preferred
  • Experience developing analysis plans and analyzing large volumes of data using statistical and programmatic methods required
  • Ability and willingness to work effectively with geographically distributed teams across time zones
  • Capable of leading and managing teams, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Jira or other project tracking system preferred
